Petronas gas processing plant : City of Lights
During our recent Terengganu trip, we were taken to the City of Lights – the Petronas gas processing plant in Kerteh. I’ve never seen something this beautiful in my life. Too bad the bus are not allowed to stop for us to take pictures. We are not even allowed to take pictures of the plant actually.
It was after midnight after our Kelip-Kelip trip and some of us are already asleep in the bus. I was asleep too but Darling woke me up as soon as we arrived here.
Picture taken from the moving bus.
Left and right we see lots and lots of lights.
But today I read in the papers that an explosion occurred at GPP Complex A of the Petronas gas processing plant resulting in one casualty.. Â :'(

Nice. Here, we have this in Bintulu… When they first started, the negatively-inclined prophets of doom said very dangerous, would explode…better move out of Bintulu. Been years and years, still nothing leh? Touch wood…those people – everything also must oppose one.
i see lights! ;D How come didn’t take more pics?;(
wow why processing plant also need so many lights?
Sarawak also has one like this..in Bintulu.
Ya.. owis see that.. too annoying.. keke
I have not seen this before, I reckon it is very beautiful.
is a very sad case..
safety in the factory is the most important…
i know that a safety act that if there is a casualty that cause dead ..
the plant must stop at least 1 month to investigate and take all permanent countermeasure …
Oh oh Merryn, I think along the road side there is sign board shows no camera. I’m not sure why they disallowed people from taking the photo over there. Indeed, it is beautiful night view.
Yeah I saw that sign too…
WOW, so many lights!
