London, the Summer Musical

With THREE successful musicals under their belt, Sunway Lagoon proudly presents their fourth musical production, London, The Summer Musical which pays tribute to London, the city hosting the Summer Olympics 2012.

Ethan, Darling and I have been to ALL three previous musicals; the latest Aladdin, being their BEST in my humble opinion.

Magical Musicals (June 2011)

Peter Pan the Musical (November 2010)

London, the Summer Musical tells the the story of three female stewardesses who fly from New York to London. During their 48-hour stopover, they have a romantic encounter with three London boys. The stars will be singing songs from popular musicals such as Footloose, The Lion King and Mamma Mia! as well as songs from hit TV shows such as Glee and Smash – and even James Bond films!

Talking about songs, I remember fondly the very first song that tells about MY love then – The Yellow Submarine by The Beatles! I heard this song when I was very young, about Ethan’s age now. You know when you were younger, you listened to the songs your mom listens to? Yeah, that’s how I got to know of this Yellow Submarine song! Well, I don’t know if I can say that this song describe MY love but it definitely describes me NOW! I’m a submerryn and it’s no secret I’m yellow :P As a matter of fact, the Yellow Submarine is also a musical, a 1968 animated musical fantasy film based on the music of The Beatles. Yeah.. musical!

London, the Summer Musical would be performing at Sunway Lagoon’s Amphitheatre from 1 June to 8 July 2012 featuring 6 West End stars flown in all the way from London!

wow.. they got some great set of adapted musicals this time… Footloose, Mamma Mia, Lion king , Glee and Smash.. wow I love them all… errr I wish they will visit us here too

last time I acted in my school musical play before .. just a small potatoes in the show..
