Best playground hunt : Desa ParkCity
Play is very important to a child. A child can learn so much more through play than in the confinement of a classroom. I love bringing Ethan to the playground for that is the time I can really take my mind off ‘work’ and exercise a little.
I not only bring him to the playground at home but also to other playgrounds in the Klang Valley.
Of the many playgrounds we have been to, I guess the BEST has got to be the one in Desa ParkCity.
Their height limit is so tall that I am eligible to PLAY! :P
What we love about the playground here is that the equipment is very different than those found in any other playgrounds…
There are LOTS of physical play available. The little monkey is extremely happy hanging and swinging here, there and everywhere.
He loves this narrow slide too.
This is one pretty good butt thigh exercise equipment. You can slide it to your left and right.
Guess what he and Daddy are doing? This wheel can rotate. The kids will sit, lie or do whatever on it and you turn it. I saw 2 kids got flung off that wheel (on purpose!)
But I guess most kids will rate this giant swing as their favourite. Ethan had so much time ‘flying’ on it like as if it is Aladdin’s magic carpet!
See how happy those kids are! I wish I can have a ride too but there are guards around forbidding adults to play here… But I’m BELOW that yellow line, I wonder if they’ll chase me away? ^_^
Later in the evening Ethan joined a couple of kids in the stream.
He fed the fish in the lake before calling it a day. The number of fish here is amazing!
Next week we are bringing his bicycle along as there are ample of cycling space available here.
I wanted to walk on the foot reflexology path but I saw dog’s poo there -.- FYI, this park is filled with dogs and their owners. They play catch and more here. I just wish that they clean up after the mess though..

Actually, I dunno if they are allowed to play in the stream but since he saw other kids playing, he wanted to join and the guards also tak ask them to stop…
wow…this park is definitely great for kids! But must be under watchful eyes of adults since there is a stream there? Oh, i would love to take Labbie there for walks..but of course must pick up the poo poo otherwise sure can get angry eyes staring back! :)

Call I call myself / or Sam LUCKY as I stay nearby (but not in DPC lah ~.~), I can go everyday if I want :P
We have to save up so we can purchase a home at DPC by year end. After all, we are just a lil bit short by about RM1 million… >_<

Nowadays go Desa Park City need to pay for parking, RM2 per hour, increase already, last time RM1.

I’ve heard of Taman Tun Park. Never been there. It’s in my must go list too :D
Ya, this park has one of the best playgrounds around… Chloe’s favourite too. If we don’t have to pay for carpark (it was free last time) and 2-way toll, we would definitely go there more often :p
Use da Sg Buloh road no need toll right?
On weekends, we would bring my kids to Lake Garden playground. It wasn’t as good as this one . This playground has an edge on having guards around. I remember I gave an adult a stare before when she sat on the swing, just small swing, and not the giant type one.
Lake Garden is a nice place. Love the greenery there.
I don’t even know where is Desa Park. The playground really looks great. Got dog poo poo ah…I don’t want to go lah.
The playground is alright. I only spotted dog’s poo on the reflexology path..
Wow, this playground is good! Lot’s of things for the kids to play! Love the fishes at the lake. Must remember to bring some bread when i go there!
