Pak Su Seafood Restaurant, Pahang : Best Chili Crab!
Our journey from KL to Awana Kijal, Golf, Beach & Spa Resort takes approximately 5 hours. The journey was pleasantly bearable as we stopped at Pak Su Seafood Restaurant for lunch mid-way.
Pak Su Seafood Restaurant
No.4/1417, Batu 6, Lot 922,
Kg. Bahagia Beserah,
26100 Kuantan, Pahang.
Phone: 609-544 8025
Pak Su Seafood Restaurant is located along Jalan Beserah which you will pass if you are going to Kemaman from Kuantan using the route 3 scenic highway. It is a “halal” or kosher restaurant that is frequent by many locals and visitors who are travelling to the east coast.
Many fish to choose from.
We enjoyed the sea breeze and was serenaded by the sound of the waves throughout our meals.
Our meals are pre-arranged by the kind folks of Resort World Genting so we just sit down, relax and eat what is served before us ^_^
Peanut as appetizer
Fried Squid
Love the squid. It’s very tasty (not salty) and not at all rubbery.
Tofu dish
This is the first to clear so I guess it must be everyone’s favourite!
Steamed Fish in soya sauce
The fish is very fresh and the flesh melts in our mouth. Need I say more?
Fried Rice
We had lots of this coz we were so hungry….
Fried mee hoon and Lala
And then this was served! >_< Thank goodness I still have space in my tummy for the succulent lala..
Fried Vege
Out of nowhere, the vege appeared. Being the good girl that I am, I forced some greens into my throat though I’m already quite stuffed by now!
But I guess Pak Su decided to save the BEST for last as the next thing we know, crab was served before us!
Pak Su’s famous Chili Crab
A must try when you dine in Pak Su is their famous Chili Crab. Why did it have to come last?! Anyway, how much space can a crab take right? So I go ahead and have some…
Thank goodness I did because the crab is awesome! The flesh is so tender. I was afraid initially that it might get too messy eating crab but this crab is easily eaten. All we needed to do is poke it and the flesh comes out easily!
One for the album – Some of the Nuffnang bloggers and I @ Pak Su’s
wow, is it cheap ? the seafood looks fresh tho =)
Ok, the usual fare… I’d love the crabs though… Bet it’s a whole lot cheaper there than in KL?
P.S. Ethan needs a haircut, mummy… LOL!!!
It reminds me on the seremban famous crab
near to seaside? i didnt go to this shop before! next time can try ad!
somehow the steamed fish attracted me mroe! >.<
Hmm.. the seafood looks fresh and delicious too.
The cooking is very akin to Chinese style, Chinese chef perhaps?
wow….good food and good scenery !
Nice makan-makan, I bet the seafood sure very fresh.
crab crab crabbb! The crab look so yummy!
Wah.. nice food.. plus + nice sea side.. ^_^
Food looks heavenly!
Oh..the chilli crab looks so inviting.
this used to be our favourite place because its where hubby brought me to, the first time I went to his hometown. At night, the environment is really beautiful!
Worst attitude lady boss i’ve ever seen…. food is not all that good & pricey… … the restaurant has very bad set up, it give you unpleasant experience with strong wind kept blowing at your face.. & especially when it rains, water is all over the place .. the floor was so slippery, a kid fall down .. i swear i’ll never go there again !!!
Went to Pak Su restorant on 2nd July 2012. The service is bad and the food
that they serve is very slow. The first dish that came out is the vegetables and
tofu came out 20 minutes later and etc. We almost finished our rice while waiting for the rest of the dish to be out. Not much customer at that time
and probably 5 tables but yet the service is poor and slow. The bill is expensive
and not really value for money. I will not recommend this place for sea food in Kuantan.
