Christmas at Berjaya Times Square KL
Today is a state holiday for the folks in Selangor. Darling needed to go to KL to meet a client so Ethan and I took this opportunity to tag along. Almost regretted though as it took us almost 2 hours to arrive KL due to the massive jam! I can balik kampung dy oh with that given time! But it’s okay, since Darling desperately needed to meet his client, we persevered and made it to Berjaya Times Square :D
It has been ages since I last stepped foot in Berjaya Times Square. The last time I was there, it was still new hence it was rather quiet. Today, the place looks like Sg Wang! It’s as ‘messy’ as Sg Wang. I don’t fancy shopping in that kind of environment. I like shopping in a neat and nice place. That explains why I don’t frequent the night market!
Anyway, since I’m in the mood to capture the beauty of Christmas, let us have a look at Christmas in Berjaya Times Square.
Christmas at Berjaya Times Square
A giant Christmas tree on stage
Can you spot a crashed plane at the top of the tree? That is because..
This fella was playing with the remote control plane but crashed it instead :)
One cheeky snowmanÂ
The following picture is my favourite! Hehe…
Just look at that reindeer! LoL! It is definitely unhappy to be pulling Santa’s sleigh!
Gingerbread man
Yum yum! Looking at that gingerbread man makes me feel like the bad wolf who gobbles up gingerbreadman in the end!
More Christmast trees outside. I guess they’ll only switch on the lights come night time?
You know something? All the while I was here trying to do some Christmas shopping and there they are going “Tong Tong Tong Chiang, Tong Tong Tong Chiang.. Tong Tong Tong Chiang Tong Chiang Tong Chiang”! OMG! My kepala BERGONCANG!
There goes my Christmas spirit! It’s Chinese New Year here in Berjaya Times Square and it shows as proven in the next pic..
Tah-dah! Chinese New Year and Christmas together-gether!
Check out my posts on the Christmas decorations over at:
1)Â Pavilion KL
2)Â Sunway Pyramid
3)Â One Utama
5)Â The Curve and IPC (Ikano Power Centre)
6)Â The Gardens Mall
If you like to make your own Christmas tree ornament, check out what WE did here.
Decor looks pretty good though… What to do? Many are not putting up Christmas trees at their homes this year – too near CNY…and the hassle of taking down the tree when so busy preparing to Fa Cai.
Yalah I pun tak suka. Kasi lah Christmas finish first then only tong tong tong chiang lar!
Hmmm, I think Times Sq decor so-so only….. :P
Very nice decor.
wah.. total 9 of all.. U been visit all around Klang Valley.. Why not turn out to other place? hehe
Time Square now, which mall is still open in your list?
So funny lah their Christmas decor. Haha…Sg wang area is like that lah…toong toong chiang. :P
beautiful deco..but believe it or not, I’ve never stepped into that mall…hate crowds
Based on experience working in KLCC for 4 years, please don’t ever attempt to enter KL centre during Selangor public holidays. Why? Coz all Selangor folks go down to KL to shop or biz purposes.
Unhappy reindeer, haha!! lol
Hi Merryn,
Thanks for your comment at my latest post.

Knowing that you wish to try out the sesame cake recipe, maybe you can add another teaspoon (in total 3 tsp) of black sesame into the batter. It taste more flavourful. Happy Trying!
I have not been visiting Berjaya Time Square for quite some time too. Did not know that it became like Sg Wang already.
spent 2 nights at the berjaya times square and obviously had to go down to shop since i didn’t bring enough clothes. was surprised when a few shops actually played the CNY songs. SHOCKED maximus!
