His first haircut
Ever since Ethan was born, I have been his barber. Four years without ever going to the barber for a haircut until today. I asked Ethan if he would like to have his hair cut by someone else besides me and straightaway he said, “YES!” I did not expect that at all.. I thought he would say NO.
Call me bad but my immediate response was, “then you don’t want Mommy to cut your hair anymore Mommy sad how?” to which he replied, “nevermind Mommy, I will sayang you oso. I will faster hug you after my haircut” :`(
His eyes sparkled at the thought of getting a haircut so I had to do the inevitable, we brought him to the Curve because I had my haircut there once and I remembered they have this cute car for the kids to have their haircut on.
Look at what I have to compete with! If I were a kid I’d be happy too! I’m so sure he WON’T want me to cut his hair ever again :(
True enough, he was very excited.
Making kawaii poses and cute faces :D
And then, the moment of truth. Amazingly he sat still throughout!
Not at all afraid when the hair-dresser snips the hair at the back of his ears. He even exclaimed happily that the pair of scissors is cold!
Having fun with leng lui. I’m so out of the game dy.. sigh…
My proudest moment has got to be this when he obediently lets the lady cut his fringe :)
After everything is done, the hair-dresser ‘vacuumed’ his hair. I thought he won’t like the loud sound and all but guess what? He said, “So SHIOK!”
That’s it! I knew then that he’ll never let me cut his hair again. True enough, when I asked him later on, he said he wants to get his hair cut in a salon next time.
Ethan’s BEFORE and AFTER pic. I love him with longer hair but Darling prefers his AFTER look.
Well, in a way I’m glad that he went through his first haircut without any drama but deep down I felt a tinge of sadness that I won’t be cutting his hair again from now on… :(
Maybe the Daddy will join him in the future and get his hair cut there too but for sure the Daddy won’t be getting any CUTE treatment as you can see, the seats for adults are pretty simple…
I wonder if they’ll let ME have my haircut on that cute car? :P
So canggih one for kids.. no wonder Ethan wants to try that…
Haha…signs of growing up. Don’t be sad. Maybe u can give Ethan a bro and can cut for another 4 years? Hehe..
spiky is cool :)
Buy the car and put it at home to see if it works. XD
Hahahahaha!!! Ethan’s growing up…slowly drifting away. Once he gets a girlfirend, habislah you! Bye bye Mummy!!!! Muahahahahaha!!!!
Always pass by this place but never offered my boy the choice to have his haircut there. Mummy’s still the barber :)

Haha, Samantha only had hair cut 2 or 3 times until now, her hair grow very slow >///<
nowadays kids really got privileged!! but both before and after, he is such a cutie!!
Good boy. I like the after pic. :) Gwen still wants me to cut her hair…actually only trim her fringe lah coz she loves her long hair.
haha..cute and honest post. :) I still cut my girls’ hair till today. and I plan on doing so for a while still. :)
Like his cheerful smile, before and after the cut!~
Long or short hair, Ethan is very adorable.

i think my mum cuts my hair till i’m like 10 years old, hahaha.. after that is indian shop but of course now i go to salon lah.. errr, shorter hair makes Ethan looks more boyish lah~~ :D
