Cenderawasih @ Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie

It was a fine evening when Darling drove us to Glenmarie Golf and Country Club. The first thing I saw was this gorgeous eagle. We are here to witness the unveiling of newly renovated “Cenderawasih” at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie.

We were welcomed at the lobby foyer area of the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club which was bedecked with a vintage car.

Being a car enthusiast, Ethan was given the opportunity to ‘drive’ the vintage car much to his amusement!

He even got the chance to ride in it. Awesome!

The large Cenderawasih is well known for hosting wedding functions, seminars, conferences, meetings and workshops which can accomodate a range of seating styles and break-out options for meetings up to 550 delegates for a truly memorable event.

During the day, natural light and view of the lush green golf course from the hall adds to the fresh feel and the new look. Love it!

Four of the hotel’s Food and Beverage outlets The Mix, Kites Restaurant, Fu-Rin Japanese restaurant and Phoenix Chinese restaurant were showcased. We were also treated to a variety of cuisines ranging from International buffet to chic tapas, from Chinese to Japanese.

Look who’s mesmerized by the 7 piece Filipino band, Zynchro, resident band from The Mix.

There was also a lucky draw session at the end of the program where 12 lucky guests went home with some amazing stays at Holiday Inn  Resort Penang, ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom, Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore, Holiday Inn Melaka, InterContinental Singapore, Holiday Inn Resort Goa, Holidayay Inn Pune Hinjewadi and Holiday Inn Resort Phuket.

How I wished I had won the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket. Been thinking of visiting Phuket end of this year.. but oh well, congrats to the lucky guests :D
