Traffic in the city
We saw a carton box lying idle at the corner of the room and wondered if we can do anything with it..
So we cut them open
Lay them flat and taped them together
Next we spread glue all over the box
And covered the box with brown paper
I helped Ethan cut some black foams and he pasted them as roads
Ethan painting a toilet paper roll blue. It is later used as a tunnel.
Cut doors out of tissue boxes and wrapped it with coloured construction paper.
Tah-dah! A mini town! But it looks bare and boring.. So we added some features.
It has a car wash
And petrol station too :D
It also has a tunnel
And a ramp for cars to fly! :D
Bumper-to-bumper jam heading to the Volkswagen. Das auto. Show 2011 @ Stadium Bukit Jalil Open Air Car Park :P
He loves it so much he brings it with him to the Studio and everywhere!
Ethan told me this at the end of the day, “It feels like so hard to make this, so much work to do but I like it!”
That’s all I needed to hear from him. I told my boss it would be so much easier to just buy him a track but looking at him happily playing with this and requesting us to join him is worth all the effort! :D
lol! bumper to bumper traffic. what a familiar sight in kl ><
Ethan boy sure had lots of fun!^^
Clever boy…
he's so imaginative!
Wow…creative..simply stunning. My Ryan absolutely has no patience for all these….
Wow the car wash thing is very 'special'~ :P
Creative move!
Very creative. I'd like to do one with my son one day.
Needs patience a lot! in the end it pays off, right? Save money and save the world too… why u all so creative one! :)
This is a the best craft activity that you have for your boy. Ethan being a boy, sure love this DIY road track. Besides, he can learn a lot of words from this activity. Thumbs up for you, Merryn.
Nice one.. I like this!~
