Durian oh Durian

Durian – The King of fruits. You either love it or loathe it. To durian lovers, the aroma is invitingly fragrant while those who can’t stand the pungent smell equals it to rotten cheese!

I love durian. I can eat lots and lots of durian! I can beat Darling anytime. My in-laws know how much I love durian. My parents know how much I love durian. Everybody knows how much I love durian! I went back to Darling’s hometown last weekend and got this in return :P

Durians… ahhh…

I was treated like a Princess today. With Ethan already asleep, I sat on a stool while Darling did the ‘kopek-KING’ of the King of fruit :D

I was like, “oooh….”

and, “aahhhhhh…” all the while nom, nom, nomming the sinful-licious sweet, yellow flesh. SUGAR HIGH!!!

I remembered when durian was not in season and I was craving for it badly, the closest I could get to having a durian fix was this…

And then, several months ago, Cynthia gave me this…

Durian cheesecake. Like as if durian alone is not sinful enough, she combined it with another vice – CHEESE! The result is an ultimate BOMB! Delicious!

Of course I need not mention about the additional kilometers I had to jog to burn off the calories after consuming the above! :P

And then, of all place in the world, the tenant above my workplace is a bakery. The aroma of durian will fill the place, the elevator and everywhere come durian season. I will sniff, sniff and ended up ‘floating’ to the top floor to purchase this…

Durian puff. The BEST I’ve tasted so far! You’ve GOT to taste it to believe it and it takes a very stong self-control to refrain from going upstairs to purchase this! >_< Torture!!!!!!!!!

The other day I was flipping the papers and I saw this…

Durian Mille Crepe from Grand Seasons Hotel. OMG! Why oh why??! I MUST try this!!! Aiyo… how lah??!!

I love durian very much that I visualize it even during our Art time and ended up with this..

But most of all, I missed my Mom’s Durian Ice. I don’t have a picture of it but I found something similar on the net *it did not come with a link so am very sorry can’t link you here, but if you happens to read this, please drop me a note*

It is the BEST durian dessert of all time, my mom’s durian ice-cream batang or whatever you call it. You know, those you fill into a long plastic and freeze? Sobs.. I so want that now… :(

Speaking of durians, dear,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am going to a durian buffet this coming saturday,,,,,,,,they say very the cheap, RM15 per pax,,, eat until durian tree can grow in you,,,,,,,,,,,wanna join?

Hey, i super duper love durians too! XD the feeling of makaning it, no matter by the road side, or at home, it's exhilarating .. Now you make me want to head out and get one soon! lol.

Would you believe i stopped by a roadside stall near my workplace to have 1 D24 durian all to myself the other day? RM12/kg. I could not bring Janice because she does not like durians unfortunately :(

eh.. tak ajak pun.. jom kita 'ber-durian' together gether la… Princess also love durian.. and she can mistakenly 'cempedak' with durian by the outside, but not inside.. LOL!

The durian batang I ate cost RM2.20 per… expensive but quality!! yummy! hey, the durians.. gosh.. i must go get some this evening!

I am a durian fan also. The smell even though busuk to some is perfume to me. If I can't get durian, just any food with durian in it also jadi lah! btw, what is the name of that bakery with durian puff??

Oh I love durian too, my favourite. But due to the hazy and bad weather now, I got to reduce the intake. Oh I wanna order durian cake from Secret Recipe for my girl coming bday hohoho.

My hubby love durian very much, for me, is ok la.

This saturday, I and hubby with 2 kids and hubby friends will go to Yongping (Johor) to eat durian in durian farm, fun.

wah.. berani kau makan durian time bunting?? Saya kena pantang betul tu, biar pun kobihisss mau makan.. sebab dia panas… but ada org may be tahan lasak..hihihi..

I got 1 fren.. pregnant 8 bulan.. dia pi makan durian, itu malam masuk hospital… dari sana saya tidak berani makan durian kalau preggy…

tapi kalau kau ok time makan tu… well.. ok lah tu… nothing to worry… hihihihi…

adui… terhingin pula p makan durian… ;-p

OMG!!! why must everything in durians?? i hate durians lor, and anything to do with durians.. make sure you don't touch me with your fingers if they smell like durians ok?? hahaha~~ :D
