Home is where the heart is

And my heart is in Malacca! Tonight is my last night here in Malacca. After spending several days here for the Chinese New Year break, I am heavyhearted to even think about going back to Pea Jay and back to routine. The thought of leaving the comfort of my parent’s home and the warmth of my ‘crazy’ relatives are just too much to handle. But that is life. We can’t always have the best of both world.
Did you notice that I did not even go online to update my blog during my almost a week long break? I am surprised that I survived that long not touching my blog. You did not even see me hopping into your blog right? Sigh..
I need a holiday after a holiday. It is always like that right? After you go on a vacation, it will be so distressing to get back to your normal routine that you’ll always end up applying an additional couple of days off just to try adjusting your life back to normalcy.
Haih.. I’m lucky to have my parent’s home to come home to each Chinese New Year when there are others who had to stay in hotels during this festive season. I heard that vacation rentals portal is a user-friendly resource to look for furnished apartments should you need a place to stay during your break. An online friend has tried vacation rentals Barcelona and found it useful!
