Double Birthday Celebration @ Marufuku, Jaya One

My tweep gang met up again for a double birthday celebration :D Whose birthdays?

Eric, whose birthday falls on tripple 1

and yours truly whose belated birthday was on the 28 December

The chosen venue was Marufuku, Jaya One

Panda Foong brought along the head he got during the Secret Santa event. He was almost exposed there! If the Panda head goes lower, you’ll get to see him! :D

Saucer couldn’t resist how cute Panda was and gave him a secret kiss while we were trying to get a group picture! MUAKS!

Saucer went to puke after that kiss! :P See! He is no where to be seen! Ethan said he heard Saucer kissed Panda FOUR times! Four Muaks Muaks there!

We all had the refillable green tea. Saucer lost his appetite after THE kiss so he did not order any meal :(

Darling, Eric and Witch ordered the same meal, Nabeyaki Udon – RM10 –

It is udon in Japanese fish-based broth, served hot in claypot, topped with tempura ebi, fish cake, fried tofu, shiitake mushroom, egg and chopped spring onion.

The picture in the menu looks so much larger than the real serving portion. This is like a kid’s meal, it takes less than 10 bites to finish the whole thing!

Grey had Oyako Udon – RM10 –

I was disappointed to see them serving it with the egg yolk spilling out into the broth like that. Grey was nice enough not to make them take it back but if I was the one having that, I’ll insist to get mine with the egg yolk still intact.

Foong and I shared a steamboat meal. We both had hot nabe – RM15 – each

It consists of chicken meat, tofu, shiitake mushroom, carrot, cabbage and some other vegetables

Our Nabe came with a bowl of udon too. They claimed that the Nabe meal is good for 3 to 4 people even if we ordered for 2 but I seriously doubt that! The serving portion here is definitely for little people!

Oops… can you see Panda’s hairy thigh up there? :P Panda, exposed! :D

Food wise, I doubt if I’ll dine here again as I did not really enjoy my meal. But thank goodness for the great company..

Ethan as usual, had his crush on Che-che Witch! He even tried to sell his Alligator toy to her :P

Pretty boy Grey was flirting like crazy with the camera man! :P Just look at him! LoL! OK, so I may be wrong, he wasn’t flirting. He was Foong-cified, covering his face when pictures are taken!

Finally, thanks peeps for celebrating my birthday with me :D Looking forward for our Lou Sang already!

Nice smiles from all. Bananaz cant smile most of the time especially in front of camera. No wonder friend nick named me as Chairman Mao. Happy belated birthday to Eric and Merryn too (think have wished you earlier, nvmd bonus this time hehe) ~;).

Ken – The panda head is real lah! :P U know why this time my pics all turn out that way? Coz instead of setting the camera dial mode to iA, it went to dunno what and came out too bright!Sigh…

The food not very nice but I like the udon mee! So nice to chew! And the portion is just nice for me to help me reduce my waistline. Unfortunately Merryn keep asking me to eat more cos she does not like to eat the food there!

it's so hilarious that Panda brings along the toy and use it to cover himself when taking photos!! hahahahaha.. he didn't need to do so right?? he can just ask you to mask his face before posting the photo mah.. :D
