Is this ginkgo?
You know that I’m battling with this irritation in my ear right? Darling is not content with the western way of treatment that is showing no sign of improvement for me so he went the alternative way, the Herbalife way! :D
He went to a witch and that witch recommended this. I don’t know what this is as I’m not well-versed with these hocus-pocus stuffs! :P
What I DO know is, it is such a hassle to boil this drink. With my current condition I’m extra lazy to do anything as I can’t stay ‘awake’ for long. I’m always drowsy and prefer to lie down most of the time. So I ended up just chucking those things aside.
However while I was lying on the couch, I caught Darling doing these…(I quickly took my camera to capture these! haha)
He knocked those ‘beans’ to break open the shell…
Remove the shell..
There it is. The precious whatever…
But that is not the end. They said we have to remove that thing inside or it will be very bitter when eaten… Haih… so leceh!
But whatever it is, Darling being the sweetest darling in the world helped me with all those, tossed everything into the slow cooker and this morning, we got this sweet concoction to savour.
Our elixir of health made of love :D
Thank you Darling. I know I’m going to get much better FASTER with you around :D
auwww so sweet!!!
taste sweet anot?? LOL @ hocus pocus stuffs! hahaha r u sure William dint get it from our fren WITCH aka MeiYee??? :P
SWEET…. sooo SWEET….too SWEET or not? haha… You have to feel much much better afterwards…My mil boiled everything first with the shell, so we get a perfect shape when we crush the shell. I only get to eat my mil homemade one once a year during CNY.
wah.. before drink already sweet.. once u put into mouth sweeter and after finishing the whole bowl is the sweetest love that ever made~ lolz =D
I want, I want! Slurp!
wah…ada orang layan sampai tu!! bahagia nya…then ethan doing what? lolget well soon
Dunno what nuts…but you'll find them in "cooling" drinks. Look like pistachios on the outside. Gingko…good for memory loss, I hear.
wow.. so nice of your husband.. yes, very leceh one.. gingko seeds.. i heard they are good for memory..
yes, is not easy to peel the hard skin. I did it once and i think that is first and last i did it..LOL
Sweeeeet habis! Your darling is simply the best :)Did you see an ENT specialist? I had a similar ear infection when I was in my teens. Can still remember that sharp, throbbing and killing pain until now. I cried like a baby too haha. My dad brought me to a govt hospital to consult an ENT specialist. After "pouring" some solution inside the ear a couple of times, a really HUGE ball of ear wax popped out and I got well soon after that. Maybe you should get it checked again in order not to prolong your misery? The pain can be quite unbearable at times, I know…
ya..gngko boiled with barli n fu chok tastes yummy..
Aiyo SO SWEET! That witch is definitely not me since I don't have ginkgo myself! LOL! If I were you, I'd pretend the ear irritation is still there so that I get to have this sweetness for a longer time! *evil*
oh really that's the remedy?? hmmm, i like that ginkgo soup, very nice and refreshing.. errr, i think now you can buy readily packed ones from market and no need to do all the hassles already leh..
Yupe! This is gingko alright. :D My family cooks it too sometimes. :)

So the real medicine is LOVE lah.
What a darling! and that looks good to eat, good for memory too!Recover fast ok? :)

Yes, that's right, it's gingko biloba, supposedly good for improving memory. Wah, I really salute your husband for doing that. Yes, it's all an act of love. So sweet of him. P/S: I can never expect nor imagine my husband doing this, becos I know he won't.
