Good friends forever…

They were born less than 3 months apart.

They got acquainted even before their very first birthday.

And they became buddies as they grow :) Read about it here.

Today on the 10/10/10, we got together again to celebrate Jonathan’s 3rd birthday and the first thing that greeted us were these two cuties. Aren’t they cute?

The chosen venue – Nyonya Kitchen, Klang. The birthday cake and cupcakes are very cute. I heard that it was baked by Julie’s eldest sis.

The cendol took the spot light today. Everybody seems to be going for seconds or thirds..

There was even a face painting counter. How cool is that? I managed to persuade Ethan to try face painting. It is his very first time having his face painted. He was a little bit uncomfortable initially but by the time the artist worked on the second star, he’s already OK :D

There, now everybody knows his name :P

Saying a little prayer, but obviously Jonathan has his eyes on something else! :D

Finally, he got the GREEN light to gobble up! He took his pick and lick, lick, yum, yum… ahhh… NICE :D

Oh yeah, there’s also several other mommy bloggers around to celebrate Jonathan’s birthday and I met them for the very first time today.

Do you recognise any of them? Of course right? The sweet glowing expecting mommy in pink is Yugene and the pretty mommy in black is Joanne. The short one in grey top is… ME :P

Yugene, Joanne and Mchyl, I’m sorry if I’m not my usual chatty self today. Ethan and I are a little under the weather hence the more mellowed me. I tell you I’m NOT always this quiet you know! :D

It is Jonathan’s birthday but Ethan got lots of goodies from the host. Even Yugene gave Ethan a very cool push-pull-turn and lift book! Thank you so much Yugene, he loves it! And thank you Julie too for those books and toys, he loves them too :D

Ethan loving the bird plane. Darling and Kimmy said that they loved those planes when they were younger but I don’t remember ME loving it, maybe it is a BOY thing :D Here is Ethan with Kimmy and Julie finally got a chance to steal a shot :)

Last but not least, thank you Kimmy and Julie for the invitation. We had a great time. Before I end this post, here’s Ethan singing the birthday song to Jonathan. He has been preparing to sing to Jonathan for days but today, he was busy getting his face painted when they sang that he missed the opportunity. So here he is, singing to Jonathan :D

P/S: Kimmy, we got lost in Little India on our way to Nyonya Kitchen today :P

Ethan is such a sweet boy. He sang the birthday song very well. – Poor boy, he is not feeling well, that's why I did not see his smile when I was talking to him. But occasionally, I can see him "intai" me, hehe. Very cute lah!- He very very very looks alike you. And dont worry, he will grows up tall and handsome, k:-) Of course, nice meeting you Merryn. You are very friendly person. I am sure we can chat more in our next meet up. – hehe, thanks for the description of myself.
