So very the last minute
Darling has deprived me of my PC lately. He has been hogging it day and night browsing for the best deals (flight and hotel
) as he is planning a trip to Singapore for us. Side tracked a bit – I lived in Singapore from born until kindie when my Dad got transferred to TLDM in Lumut. My dad was with the Navy then. OK done.
Back to topic – After Ethan’s first flight to Penang
last year, we now know that he is able to tolerate flights well so this time we dare to venture a little bit further. The only difference this time is we will be needing passports and no need to mention the double up of the currency!
Passport aside, the silly us never thought too much of it. Ethan doesn’t have a passport yet. This morning while I was cooking, Darling decided to book the flight and after filling up the information online, he found out that he needs to key in the passport details. That’s when he became ‘kan-cheong‘ as the flight offer is valid until Sunday only. He quickly told me to get ready and rushed us to Subang airport to get Ethan’s passport done. Thank goodness we live like only ten minutes away.
We arrived at the immigration department five minutes before they close for lunch! Phew.. Got everything done and were told to come back in 2 hours time to collect the passport. So we went home for lunch and rest and a couple of hours later.. Tah dah! We got the passports: Ethan’s, and Darling and mine – renewed.
Ethan’s passport pic. Hehe.. My mom laughed when I showed her this pic today over webcam. She said Ethan has a BIG head! @_@ It is quite true also~lah actually.. ^_^
When I first got hold of Ethan’s passport in my hand, I feel kind of.. how do I describe it? Mothers out there, care to help me here? How do YOU feel when your kid got his/her first passport? I felt touched, happy and most of all, still can’t believe it that my boy is a BIG boy dy! Look at the pic~lah. It looks like some kind of Kindergarten Graduation pic! The first time I did my passport, it was with Darling. This time, we have a little one with us… :D
So Darling is done with the booking and reservation. I will be back in Singapore (after all these years) in October. Psst… Any Singapore bloggers out there wanna go yum cha with me while I’m there? I heard from Darling that we’ll be staying in Grand Copthorne Waterfront. We’ll be there for 4 days 3 nights.
How I wish I can fast forward the time now! But I know I can’t.. so I’ll just have to wait.. patiently.. :D
