He writes :D

After the HFMD and H1N1 back-to-back episode, I’ve decided to stop Ethan from school – at least temporarily until he is stronger. That also means that I have to stop teaching to be home with him, HORROR! So it’s been more than a month now he is at home with me. We are both bored to the bone :D

We will do an art work in the morning and have a craft session in the evening. If the weather is nice, we get to go to the playground. If not, we will sit and stare at each other and occasionally look at the four walls :P

The other day I was at the bookstore looking for books for my home tuition kids. Ethan got excited and chose his own book.

Rewards Super Dino English – Nursery level

He loves this book very much. Each time my students are having their lesson, he’ll sit with them and go through this book. I tell you, I can teach him to read, art and craft but I never teach him to write! I find it so…… troublesome. I always tell myself that I will teach him to write ONE day, when he is older.

Today, he did this…

I guessed he learnt that by observing my students? :D Thank goodness for the students in my house or else Ethan and I lagi bored!

I asked him if he wants to go back to school, he said NO! @_@

BORED??? When you're my age…and your children have grown and gone…then you tell me about getting bored! What I would give for my girl to be a child again so I could take care of her again, play with her again, do everything again…. Sobs!!!

My little brother is also having a hard time to write…he knows how to write his name but other than that… no more.. LOLhe knows how to write the alphabet too but don't know how to spell a word….

Ethan can hold his pencil so well and write too… WELL DONE!I am still trying to get my ziyi to write her first ABC…. no luck so far.

Since you are available at home, it is a great idea to teach Ethan at home rather than sending him to school. He can be free from those viral infections. hehe….And save $$$$ too.

Kids nowadays are very observant as compared to 'our' time, ok..maybe my time and they actually can learn by seeing what other people is doing. Anyway, must be clever also lah.

coffiesncookies – H1N1 is immune as long as the virus doesnt mutate but HFMD is not :( so chances of getting it is as much as those who have not got it before.. sigh..
