Celebrating Mother’s Day
I just got back from Seremban about a couple of hours ago. Just got back from dinner with my in-laws to celebrate my MIL sempena
Mother’s Day~lah. Did not consume any wine during dinner but somehow ended up sounding ‘drunk’
when I chatted with Caroline
on MSN. Something about her makes me drowsy.. lol.. :P
Four Deluxe Hot and Cold Dish Combination
Shark Fin soup with dried scallop and seafood. I found that too many ingredients kind of ‘spoil’
the soup right? I prefer it simple and nice in its original state. Better still, let’s have the soup without
the shark fin next time. Help safe the shark!
This was how Ethan had his soup. Three spoons laid out to cool so it won’t burn his tongue :P
It later added up to 5 spoons!
Steamed promfret fish.
Baked prawns Mongolian style
Braised mushroom with pork tendon. Initially I thought it was sea cucumber and I got very excited. I just love sea cucumber! But then found out that they were pork tendon; something I won’t touch. But my parents-in-law love them lots! @_@
Herbal chicken. It got me sitting at the edge of my sit in excitement as I simply love herbal chicken, but it turned out to be very dry. All my chicken went flying
to Darling instead.. :P
Mixed fresh fruits – 2 varieties only
I was glad that Ethan sat through the entire dinner. He did not take his nap earlier and I was so afraid he might be cranky. He enjoyed having his own sweet time savoring each dish :)
The bill came out to RM390 for the 9 of us. Where did we dine? Restoran Min Kok Dim Sum Sdn Bhd, Seremban
