Not so comfort food..
Remember the Nestle event I attended recently? They gave me a goodie bag right? In that goodie bag, I got some Maggi stuffs. I never really looked through what I got until recently. Why? What happened recently that triggered me to look at them?
Because of Darling. He has been under the weather for more than a week now. When Darling’s down, that means nobody goes grocery shopping and that means my fridge is almost empty by now. While Darling is unwell, Ethan and I still need to eat. With nothing much in the fridge, I ‘korek-korek’ whatever is left to see what can be done..
Then I found this – Maggi’s Nasi Goreng Cina ala Warung. So simple it seems. Just add prawns, egg and mixed vege. Oh well, I don’t have prawns in my almost empty fridge but I do have some veges and eggs.
The verdict? Ok~lah. Thank goodness it did not taste like eating MSG, but maybe because I dished up a serving of 3 instead of the recommended 2?
It't been awhile since I last had any of these instant noodle. :/

Wah instant flavours….luckily still got some ingredients left in your house.
The maggie seasoning looks good, good for emergency.
Looks yummy wor your fried rice. Once a while is ok. :)
Looks good la! But my mum try to stay away from cooking too much using these MSG laden 'packets'
I should be doing that soon because I have too much food stored away and forgotten.
these are emergency aids in cooking… i dont normally use these packet seasonings to. Looks yummy though.
Once awhile this seasoning fried rice still ok la…even without that, the normal version with salt and soya sauce is actually enough already.Hope your hub is getting better now. If really no food, can always take a cab and go shop for it..
Seems like very interesting to try out these flavours. But only problem is scared of the MSG !!!Hope your hubby is feeling better now.
