Heart Wrenching
What do we call the above animal? Iguana? Chameleon? Lizard? I don’t really know what is that but that creature is a PR (permanent resident) in our garden. We often see it hanging around our plants/tree but its favourite has always been the late “Love Tree”. Since it won’t do any harm, we always let it linger.
Today, as Darling was about to continue with his ‘disposal’ job of the “Love Tree”, we saw Mr. Iguana clinging onto the tree for dear life. It refused to budge even as we tried chasing it away. As sad as I am trying to recover from this lost, seeing how Mr. Iguana will lose a home saddens me more… After all, Home Is Where The Heart Is… and to Mr. Iguana, his heart might have been with this tree for sometime now :(
girl, perhaps put him on another tree near yr house?
sorry to hear about your tree. err..the iguana looks pretty scary :P
kesian…
auww.. such kind-hearted of u, btw if i were u, i dnt mind to just chase it away! lol am fear of bugs! even if its fake one! argh!
that's indeed sounded sad… but life is tough for many of us, and iguana is no exception.
eeeekk… so scary. did it go into your room ?
Oh oh homeless 'tok kaye'? Hang on it could be a passing lizard probably having a great time on the termites? Even it will find its way to a new home, natural instinct!
ya, don't worry. it will manage to find a new home.
Lol, lovely iguana… lucky you, iguana cost a lot if bought from a pet shop! :)
That is a Tokek in Bahasa Malaysia, a species of chameleon. I heard the bite might be poisonous, can be aggresive if provoke. My contractor caught one for his son to play, he let it go when I told him about the poisonous bite. He got bitten when he was about to let it go…..luckily my contrator didn't KO! maybe his hand is rough after years of renovating houses…LOL!
Don't worry about Mr.Iguana. He will find a new home soon.
Hey, my twin!Definitely a chameleon..
So sad. ;( Can't bear to let go of the tree.
So the iguana has been there for a long, long time? :(
very sad when saw the picture,,,,The iguana lost his HOME!!
Eyew…can't stand such creepy crawlies. Is that the variety that people eat – they call it four-legged snake in Chinese? Ewek! Ewek! Not for me!
now i know how observant you can be,, one iguana like that you can be so attentive to it,,,,ya may him find the new home
I totally understand how this feels… it's like losing a pet, a loved one. I hope it will find somewhere lovely to stay!
