Of Birds and NOT bees..
This is how you enter the enclosure. Ethan just loved playing with those dangling chains…
Birds food. Ethan wanted to eat the corn. NOOOOO!!!
See how tame the birds were? We could go really near… And the nearer we were, this little rascal couldn’t resist trying to ‘catch’ them..
I think this is a pea-hen. Because it did not have those beautiful feathers..
Right? Right? Wrong?Hornbill.. Ethan’s favourite.
He squatted there for a good 15 minutes without moving, admiring the fish. We had to carry him away but still, he did not want to budge.
Even though it was a cloudy day, it was still kind of hot. The sweltering heat and the humidity is not too kind on my little rascal. He finished the whole packet of Ribena in just one go. The Ribena here cost RM4.50 while a can of 100plus that I took cost RM4.00!
The wise ol’ owl. Another of Ethan’s favourite.
Ahh.. a break in the shade.
We really enjoyed the Eagle Feeding Show. We were treated to eagles tearing, shredding and eating white mice right before our very eyes! With all the intestines dangling, blood and all.. Gruesome? Ethan enjoyed it. He can even tell me that eagles eat white mouse now. @@
This ostrich was just too cute. Saw me trying to photograph it, quickly came to the fence and started to nibble.
1Malaysia. Birds of all feathers flocking together for a meal.
Even their garbage bins are so cute.
Flamingo. Nice? Ok~la. Such noisy birds!
The front view of the proud peacock.
The backview. ^^
We went for the Bird Show and just look at this cute little fella cycling..
Patriotic to the bone, raising the Malaysia Flag – Jalur Gemilang.
Overall, I would give the Bird Park my thumbs up. It was clean and shady with so many birds flying freely above us. Nice!
One word of advise though, not a place to bring your stroller if you are coming with a toddler, a foldable and lightweight buggy maybe alright as you may need to use the many staircases around. Food and drinks are quite costly too. Mozzies? We did not encounter any. Maybe because we used repellent…
Oh yes, if you are planning to drive there, do not park your car near the slope. MONKEYS!!!
Plan to go there tomorrow, if I can get my lazy butt off the bed. :P
like the peacock shot! simply beautiful! ps you're invited to comment on my post too =)

Haha! Ethan so cute trying to catch the birds! Lucky you stopped him from eating the corn meant for the birds! LOL! Wow! He's really into fish isn't he? I think 15 minutes looking at fishes is like meditating. Ethan already learning how to meditate! Haha!
wah, looks like fun! fun! fun! hmmm… can think about making a trip there hor :)
Sure looks like Ethan had alot of fun. He is so cute in the pic; staring at the fishes in the pond. I am very impressed by his attention span, a full 15 mins without moving away from the pond!

Nice outing! Is it also more fun than going to the zoo?
Sounds like an attractive spot for kids. Will explore this birdpark when we drop by KL the next time.
Looks great although the bit you mentioned about the stroller put me off……
