To buy or not to buy?
Ethan has the least toys at home (comparing to other kids we know). We seldom get him any toys and the last toys we purchased was last year during the E-Toys warehouse sales. He never requested for any new toys too. Whenever we bring him to Toys ‘r’ Us or any other toy shop, he will just play and leave it once we are ready to leave. But last Saturday was a different story.
We were out shopping, when he spotted this one thing he fancies. Immediately he grabbed it and pestered me to get it for him. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it too, but Darling insists for Ethan to put it back. Ethan stood there, still holding ‘IT’. We let him hold on to ‘IT’ while we contemplate to buy or not to buy. I reasoned with Darling and though unwilling, he gave in and let ME purchase ‘IT’ for Ethan. Darling said it is totally inappropriate, unsuitable and a total waste of money. This is the first time Ethan is asking for something and we try not to make this a habit by not easily giving into all his demands. But I treat this as a Valentine’s gift to Ethan for I simply love ‘IT’ too and hopes that when he gets bored of it, I can have this hand-me-downs. I’ll let you be the judge and tell me if this is a waste of money. Are you ready? This is what I bought for Ethan at a price of RM62.90.

aww… isn’t it cute? I’m a sucker for all things cute! He loves it so much that he roles play he is the Mummy and feeds it!
and even ‘shares’ his pacifier with this ‘mouse with very BIG ears’!
and lastly, kisses it before nap time, just like Mummy always does!
No extra points for guessing how he comes to love Mickey so much (or is this Minnie?). From his Disney’s Magic English of course… He he.. Tell you a secret, I saw Darling putting ‘IT’ into Ethan’s crib the other night while putting him to sleep. I guess Darling has grown fond of ‘IT’ too. :)
